Our Partnership with the Culmore Boys & Girls Club

On Monday nights, Palette 22 hosts art students from the Culmore Boys & Girls Club. Students create art at the in-house artist’s stations and interact with patrons and adult artists, developing both social and creative skills.  Palette 22 has supported local artists of all ages and skill levels since opening in 2016.  It is an honor to partner up with the Culmore Boys & Girls Club in order to inspire and develop the youngest artists in our community.  Along with fundraisers throughout the year, we will display and sell their artwork in order to raise money to support the Club.

Boys & Girls Clubs fill the gap between school and home, providing welcoming, positive environments in which kids and teens have fun, participate in life-changing programs, and build a supportive relationship with peers and caring adults. The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington is to help boys and girls of all backgrounds, especially those who need us most, build confidence, develop character and acquire the skills needed to become productive, civic-minded, responsible adults.

Culmore is one of 13 Boys & Girls Clubs in the Greater Washington Area. Of those Clubs, Culmore boasts the highest number of visits per week and the longest average tenure of membership. We are excited to have 4 High School seniors in our Club, 3 of which have been attending since they were in kindergarten. The Culmore Club is truly a home away from home where youth can have a safe, positive, and productive place to ensure a Great Future!
