The Artist-in-Residence (AIR) program at Palette 22 showcases and promotes the original work of regional artists inside and beyond the restaurant. Our program brings artwork to the forefront of the dining experience for guests, rather than filling a need for visual interest in the background as happens in other restaurants. The Artists-in-Residence are required to work in the restaurant 4 shifts per month during peak dining hours, but are encouraged to be there as much as two to three times a week. This requirement provides our artists with the opportunity to engage with diners and guests. Palette 22’s Artist-in-Residence program is a unique opportunity for artists to garner exposure to a wide audience as well as practice promoting their work and engaging with prospective collectors.
